Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Jammu - Katra ( 56kms / 2hours )
Meals : Dinner
On arrival at the Jammu airport, drive to Katra and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 2 : Katra
Meals : Breakfast & Dinner
Embark on a 13 km trek to the Vaishnodevi Mata shrine (ponies can be hired on direct payment basis). After 'darshan', return to your hotel at night.
Day 3 : Katra - Pahalgam ( 270kms / 7hours )
Meals : Breakfast & Dinner
Drive to Pahalgam today. Arrive in Pahalgam and check into your hotel.
Day 4 : Pahalgam
Meals : Breakfast & Dinner
Spend the day at leisure admirIing the beauty of this quiet place. Enjoy a pony ride to nearby places like Chandanwadi (ponies can be hired directly). Alternatively, you can enjoy a walk along the River Lidder.
Day 5 : Pahalgam - Srinagar ( 97kms / 2hours )
Meals : Breakfast & Dinner
Drive to Srinagar. Enroute visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On arrival in Srinagar, check into your hotel / houseboat. In the afternoon, visit the temple of Shankaracharya and the Mughal Gardens.
Day 6 : Srinagar - Excursion to Gulmarg ( 52kms / 2hours )
Meals : Breakfast & Dinner
Drive to Gulmarg known as the 'Meadow of Flowers'. Enjoy fun-filled pony rides and gondola rides (on direct payment basis). Then return to Srinagar. In the evening, experience a romantic 'shikara ride' on the Dal Lake (on your own). Have a warm overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.
Day 7 : Srinagar - Excursion to Sonmarg ( 82kms / 4 hours )

Proceed on a day excursion to Sonamarg, the 'Meadow of Gold'. Enjoy a pony ride on the glacier (ponies can be hired directly). Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 8 : Srinagar - Departure

Drive back to the airport for onward journey.
